WHY SHOULD A BUILDER JOIN NADRA?

With humble beginnings, NADRA was established in 2004 as pressure treated lumber chemicals were changing, and the need of a unified voice for the deck building industry arose.

NADRA was established then, and continues to provide a unified source for the professional development, promotion, growth, and sustenance of the Deck and Railing building industry in North America.

The builder membership fee is $350 a year and your employees can join for $100 after that. So if you’re a deck builder, why should you join?

NADRA offers many benefits to craftspeople and manufacturers within the decking industry including:

Deck Builder Training & Certification

Code Governance and Communication

National Awards and Recognition

Deck for a Solder Program

Networking & Community

Deck Builder Training & Certification

NADRA offers a four part online series about deck building code and will grant a certification document once complete.

In addition, they also offer a four hour class on properly inspecting a deck.

May is Deck Safety Month and NADRA takes it seriously. Each year they provide marketing materials, social media tools, and press release templates to help you optimize your communication efforts and stand out as an industry leader.

Code Governance and Communication

NADRA focuses on code related items for the deck installer to ensure your voice is heard and that code is clearly communicated and understood.

NADRA works directly with the governing code body to ensure industry participation and provides communication on changes that impact installers.

Your support of NADRA enables them to continue this important work.

National Awards and Recognition

NADRA hosts a great awards party. Every year, the best deck builders in the world assemble and exchange information. Awards are given out in various categories to the best projects built that year.

Winngig national awards and recognition builds huge amounts of credibility to potential clients, supporting your ability to win the bids that matter.

Deck for a Solder Program

The Deck For a Soldier Program gives back to our Veterans who served our country.

Since 2007, NADRA has completed many projects that are life changing to a Veteran in need.

Below is a quick recap video of the kind of projects that NADRA helps build for Veterans around the coutry.

These projects include builders, manufacturers, and industry professionals who co-build outdoor living projects to improve the wellbeing of those who have served our country.

NADRA hosts regional chapter meetings along with support for leading national trade shows including the Pool, Spa, and Deck Expo and the International Builders Show.

The NADRA booth is a great place to meet industry contacts and exchange information.

NADRA often communicates about these upcoming events, training sessions, and discounted admission opportunities.
